Kyodo America Industries Co. Ltd. seeks a Logistics Manager for our Lawrenceville, GA, office to perform the following duties: Analyze and coordinate import-export logistics at the plant; provide logistic support of manufacturing operations throughout the life-cycle of product; plan and develop activities to provide logistics planning to ensure effective and economic support for manufacturing and service operations; analyze contractual commitments and understand needs of customers, vendors, and affiliates, and ensure needs are met; direct availability and allocation of materials, supplies, and finished products; develop and implement import and export activities for parts, supplies, and finished products, coordinate efforts of subcontractors, vendors, manufacturing, and field service personnel, and resolve logistical problems; collaborate with other departments to meet customer requirements, take advantage of sales opportunities or minimize negative impacts on business; liaise, in Japanese and English, among engineering, manufacturing, management, and sales teams in Japan and the United States to define, communicate, and execute import-export and related logistics activities. Position requires Bachelorfs Degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Management or a closely related field followed by five years of progressive work experience in international sales/logistics. Work experience must include at least two years of experience managing import/export or cross-border sales, or supply delivery. Must be fluent in written and spoken English and Japanese languages.
